Dec. 28 (Wed) - Oscar Scherer State Park (This takes the place of the cancelled Pinelands/Laurel Landfill trip.)  Search for Florida Scrub-Jays, Red-headed Woodpeckers, Eastern Towhees, Brown Thrashers and more at this popular birding hotspot. The park opens at 8 a.m., and there is a $5 per vehicle fee (so we will not have an additional VAAS donation for this walk.) Meet at the Nature Center, and we’ll start birding at approx. 8:20 a.m.
