GENERAL DONATION:  CONSERVATION, EDUCATION, AND OPERATIONS

VAAS is entirely volunteer run, and donations cover the costs of operating our education and conservation programs, such as stewarding and restoring habitat at the Venice Rookery Park, maintaining the Pollinator Garden and Audubon Center, covering program and event expenses, purchasing software subscriptions to effectively communicate with members, and others.  Read more about our Education and Conservation programs.

SPECIFIC DONATION: VAAS Youth Education Programs

Donors may also specifically designate that their donation go to the Youth Educational Programs.  Education materials, field trip bus transportation, and stipends for instructors for the Little Naturalists, 2nd Grade Birdwatchers and 5th Grade Scrub Jay Programs are financed by contributions  to the Youth Education Programs fund.  Read more about our Education and Conservation programs.
