Take a leisurely walk to observe some of the many bird species visiting Lemon Creek Wildflower Preserve.  Formerly used as a golf course and developed by the Lemon Bay Conservancy, this "private" preserve, in which we have been invited to explore, covers 80-acres on the Cape Haze peninsula in Charlotte County. The property includes upland habitats and freshwater ponds that feed into Lemon Creek and out to Lemon Bay. Meet at 8:00 a.m., 3120 Gasparilla Pines Blvd, Englewood, FL
