January 31 (Tues) 5:15 p.m. Venice Rookery - Sunset Stroll

Join Venice Area Audubon for a sunset tour of the Rookery during our prime nesting season. We will walk around the small pond (approximately 1/2 mile) observing rookery island, where birds roost and nest, as well as our purple martin colony and native plantings. Stay just after dark if you want to experience the bats departure. Meet at the Venice Rookery Park Pavilion, 4002 Annex Rd, Venice FL at 5:15 p.m. Host: Jack Foard
