Christmas Bird Count Presentation

Results of this year's Venice/Englewood Christmas Bird Count will be detailed at a special session offered by Mike Weisensee, on Saturday, February 18 at 1:30 p.m. at the Elsie Quirk Library, 100 West Dearborn in Englewood. The session is open to the public but may be of particular interest to those who participated in this year's count. Area leaders are asked to stay after for discussion on planning for next year's count. The bird count, which involved more than 100 volunteers all counting birds within a 15-mile circumference circle during one day, was led by co-compilers Mike Weisensee and Bob Clark.
