We’re on the road again! 

Venice Area Audubon at Corkscrew Swamp in Naples - Thursday, Nov. 9

Come join us for this special chapter BirdingPlus field trip! This is a carpool trip, so participants can arrive as early as 8:00 AM to visit the boardwalk on their own before we gather at 10:00 AM. A 1-mile guided boardwalk tour by Corkscrew Swamp naturalists and a presentation by Director of Conservation Dr. Shawn Clem are included. We'll learn about the many important reasons for Corkscrew Swamp's preservation and research projects as well as gain appreciation for the diversity of wildlife at Corkscrew. There will be additional time for participants to wander the boardwalks and enjoy the Visitors Center.

Cost is $25 per person which includes entry for the day; open to members and non-members. Registration is available but limited. Anyone wishing to carpool (drive or ride) should email info@veniceaudubon.org.  

UPDATE:  Corkscrew's Cafe will reopen in December.  Plan to bring your lunch or purchase light snacks and drinks at the Gift Shop.
