This workshop fulfills the required training for school field trip volunteers at the Venice Rookery.   Volunteers will be trained for all three stations of the field trips - spotting scopes, nature hike, and activity center - as well receive updated guidelines for safety and interaction with the students, teachers and general public who may be at the Rookery during a field trip. 

After the training, participants will do a "walk around" at the Rookery to experience the field trip path and address any additional questions from volunteers.

Meet at the Venice Audubon Center.  Dress for the weather, wear substantial shoes, bring water and insect repellent if needed.
