POST-STORMS CLEAN-UP

Help us clear out storm debris around the Venice Audubon Center and Pollinator Garden this Saturday.   The focus will be on clearing away tree branches and aluminum pieces for pick up by Sarasota County.  The Pollinator Garden plants also need attention and watering to help them recover from the recent storms.

Closed toe shoes are required.  If you have gardening implements to cut branches, they would be helpful as we have limited tools.  We're also in need of someone with a chainsaw who can operate it safely to cut oak tree branches into smaller pieces for removal.  Gardening or leather gloves are highly suggested for all volunteers.

Please be prepared with sun protection, eye protection, bug spray, water and a snack.
