A spectacular birding hotspot, with ducks, herons, egrets and a good chance at Purple Gallinules, among other species. 

Meet at the picnic tables at the Sarasota Audubon Nature Center, 6888 Palmer Blvd, Sarasota.  Restrooms available in the parking lot.
