Weekly seasonal bird walks are offered at Oscar Scherer State Park.  Venice Audubon conducts the bird walk on the 1st and 2nd Thursdays, November through March. 

Several locations in the park will be visited where Scrub Jay families have been regularly seen.  The trails are sandy.  Walks cover about 2 miles and take about 2 hours.

Park opens at 8:00 AM.  Park entry fee of $5 per car.  Meet at the park Nature Center at 8:30 AM.
