From September through May,
you can attend free environmental programs at the Venice Audubon Center,
and visit the Butterfly Garden,
irrigated by rain cisterns.
Venice Area Audubon Rookery
During the nesting season, from November
to May, the Rookery provides photographers
and other visitors spectacular views of many
bird species nesting in their natural habitat.
The Rookery is part of the Great Florida
Birding Trail, in the South Florida edition.
